Fuel Policies / Charges
All vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel and it is the customer's responsibility to return the vehicle full or pay for any missing fuel at the end of rental. On rentals of 5 days or longer we will automatically add the cost of a full tank of fuel to our rental charges at time of pick up. This method eliminates the need for you to refuel the tank prior to returning. The fuel amount charged at time of rental will be based on a market competitive price and the car model rented. We are unable to issue a refund for unused fuel. A fuel deposit will not be required for rentals of 5 days or longer. For rentals of 1 to 4 days a fuel purchase option is available. Ask for further details when picking up your vehicle.
Exceptions
| Canada
The fuel level of the vehicle at time of rental will be full. Unless fuel is included in the pre-booked package, Renter may return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel or pre-pay for a full tank of fuel at the time of rental at the rate provided at the renting location. If the Renter selects the pre-paid fuel service option (FSO), no refunds will be given for unused fuel. If the Renter does not return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel or select the pre-paid fuel option, the Renter will be charged to return the fuel tank to full at a rate provided at the location to which the vehicle is returned.

| Spain
Car is supplied with a full tank, return full or cost will be Euros 12.00 plus tax plus the price of the fuel. There is a Euro 48.08 deposit held against credit card to ensure petrol tank is returned full. For the Balearic Islands only (service provided by Hiper Rent a Car), the policy is as follows: A charge of between 38 and 62 Euros will be held on the customer's credit card depending on the car group. Different petrol deposits are requested depending on where the client is returning the vehicle. No petrol refunds are made at the airport, where clients are kindly asked to return the tank as empty as possible. For Hotel/Office drop-offs, clients are kindly asked to return the tank full in order to get the whole deposit back.
